POTTSTOWN, PA - The Agnes Irwin volleyball team rally back after their 3-0 loss to The Academy of Notre Dame last Tuesday with a win Thursday against Owen J. Roberts.
The Wildcats jumped ahead early in the first set with a win. The Owls made a come-back to dominate in sets, 2,3 & 4 to win the match. Alexis Capers is having a tremendous season for the Owls with 30 attacks, 18 serves, 3 aces and 6 kills against the Wildcats. Giana Napoleon secured the offense during the match with 18 attacks, 4 kills and 14 serves. Kathryn Robbins supported the offense by setting-up her teammates with 23 assists, 6 attacks and 4 kills. Anchoring the defense was Ginny Ulichney with 28 digs and 26 serve receives during the match. The Owls are now 6-3. Their next match is against The Germantown Academy Patriots (6-1) October 13th at Germantown Academy.
