FORT WASHINGTON - The Germantown Academy Girls' Volleyball team is maintaining a strong presence on the courts. They beat Agnes Irwin Tuesday at home, 3-0. The Patriots continue their perfect league record (7-1-5-0).
Senior Grace Polisano was on fire achieving her 500th career kill early in the second set. Before the night ended, Polisano managed 14 kills in-all, 4 digs and 2 aces.
Teammates Carly Pruitt '16 had 7 kills, 2 digs and 1 block; Jenna Schumann '18 had 6 kills, 3 digs, 1 block and 3 aces. Emma Rapp '17 had 3 kills and 1 block. Junior Carly Shimota had 1 kill and 3 blocks. Senior Erin Lindahl had 6 digs and sophomore Cat Polisano dished out 24 assists and served up 3 aces for a 25-6, 25-11, 25-15 victory.
The Patriots' next match is October 14th, at home against Lawrenceville.
