The Lansdale Catholic girl’s tennis team had a lot of accomplishments to be proud of this season. The team maintained an undefeated record during their normal season. The girls also came in second place in the championship match for the Catholic League Title. As a team, they won the AA District 12 Championship.

Zac Zhu took the title of the AA District 12 Singles Champion and Molly Smith and Caitlin Hoos won the AA District 12 Doubles Championship. Molly Smith and Caitlin Hoos received first team All Catholic and Zac Zhu was granted second team All Catholic honors. Each of these singles players were recognized for their outstanding achievements throughout their season. As a doubles team, Angela Whittam and Jackie Campbell were awarded the League MVP’s and were also honored with first team All Catholic.

Their season was definitely something to be proud of and the girls, along with head coach Wendy Bradshaw, are all satisfied.

Angela Whittam, a senior on the team who plays second doubles, spoke about the team’s achievements.

“It's been one incredible season that is truly unforgettable. Everyone worked their hardest and it really paid off," said Whittam. "Going to the championship and states were awesome experiences and winning the District 12 title was just icing on the cake. Memories were made that I know everyone on the team will remember and cherish forever and I wish next year's team the best of luck.”
