PHILADELPHIA - Thursday night's PCL semifinal matchup between Roman Catholic and La Salle was tightly contested for the full 80 minutes.

Both sides struggled to put the opposing defense under sustained pressure and put the ball in the back of the net. That was until two minutes remained in the game, where Roman was awarded a corner kick. The ensuing ball into the box found the head of forward Brandon Gutenkunst who powered it into the goal.

It sealed a late win for Roman over the Explorers and a berth in the PCL final against Father Judge.

The PCL Final will be held at Archbishop Ryan this Sunday at 3 p.m.
