An Historic Weekend for La Salle Athletics Gaining 3 More PCL Championships
WYNDMOOR, PA-La Salle College High School has added 3 more PCL Titles to their repertoire..
Over this past weekend, the Explorers captured Philadelphia Catholic League titles in Swimming, Bowling and Indoor Track and Field.
La Salle secured its 28th consecutive PCL Swimming Championship. The team finished with 913 points, which was 354 more than second-place team Saint Joseph’s Prep.That same day, the Explorers won the District 12 City Championships and now go on to defend their state title.
In Bowling, the Explorers defeated Conwell-Egan 3032-2692 garnering their second consecutive PCL Title.
Earning yet another second consecutive year win, La Salle claimed the PCL Championship for Indoor Track and Field. The Explorers scored 171 points outdistancing St. Joe’s Prep by 88 points.
La Salle College High School Athletics have achieved a total of 6 PCL Championships since the fall- capturing the Titles in Golf, Cross Country and Football.
