HATFIELD PA- La Salle College High School proved themselves yet again on Thursday with their ninth Flyers Cup AAA championship, in a 4-1 victory over Holy Ghost Preparatory School.

The prestigious postseason tournament held last night at Hatfield Ice was the 37th Flyers Scholastic Championship.  The Flyers Cup is an annual championship for high school hockey teams in Philadelphia.  Fifty-eight of the best teams in the area compete in four leagues:  AAA, AA, A, and Girls. 

La Salle will battle the winner of Western Pennsylvania’s Penguins Cup, for the Pennsylvania State Championships on Saturday March 19th at Pegula Ice Arena in State College.
