LEVITTOWN, PA – On Friday evening, the Conwell Egan Eagles handed AA reigning Philadelphia Catholic League champs, the West Catholic Burrs, another loss on their season.
Standout Star: Kendall Jones
At the quarterback position, the CEC senior showed his speed on the ground, running through the Burrs' defense. On defense, Jones, who also plays cornerback, recovered a fumble and was seen making plays all night.
Although West Catholic scored 6-points in the opening quarter, costly turnovers and a great defensive game-plan constructed by Egan’s head coach, Jack Techtmann, would keep the Burrs from scoring the rest of the game. Egan would go on to win it’s second of the season with a score of 28-6.
