UPPER DARBY, PA – With a current PCL record of 8-1, Prendie continues on a victorious path with playoffs looming around the corner. Last week, the Pandas hosted the St. Hubert Bambies in a physical catholic league match-up.

MBAP scores its third goal of the contest

The majority of the first half was played down in front of St. Hubert’s goalie. The Bambies defense fought back strong against Prendie’s superior offense. Riley Dolan, who holds Bonner-Prendie’s school record in assists with 102, scored the first goal off a corner. Molly McNulty scored the second goal for the Pandas and Dolan added her teams third. At the end of the first half, Prendie led St. Hubert’s 4-0.

Although the halftime score may not reflect the impressive play by St. Hubert’s goalie, Liz Siravo fought strong and made some incredible saves. Siravo was also aided by her team’s strong defense.

The Pandas struck quickly on offense in the beginning of the second half. Maeve Finnegan and Kerri Quinn scored back to back goals to increase their lead 6-0. Even though the Bambies were down by 6 goals, Siravo and her defense kept their composure in and around the goal.

Despite the defensive effort from St. Hubert’s, the Pandas offense added three more goals from by Carly Brosious, Kerri Quinn, and Molly McNulty, leading to a final score of 9-0.
