VOLLEYBALL: PCL Girls Volleyball Quarterfinals Wrap-Up

PHILADELPHIA – Last night, the Philadelphia Catholic League girls volleyball quarterfinals commenced, with Archbishop Carroll, Lansdale Catholic, Cardinal O’Hara and Archbishop Wood all walking away with trips to the semifinals. The PCL semis are scheduled to take place tomorrow evening at Neumann University. No. 1 Archbishop Carroll will face No. 4 Lansdale Catholic in the first match at 6:30PM. No. 2 Cardinal O’Hara and No. 3 Archbishop Wood will battle for a spot in the finals starting at 8:00PM.   

 

Lansdale vs. Bonner-Prendie: Lansdale Catholic defeated Prendie in 3 straight sets with match scores of 25-16, 25-19 and 25-19. 

 

Archbishop Carroll vs. Archbishop Ryan: Archbishop Carroll also came away with three quick victories over Archbishop Ryan. The match scores were 25-6, 25-7 and 25-4.

 

Archbishop Wood vs. John W. Hallahan: Archbishop Wood topped Hallahan in 3 consecutive sets with match scores of 25-22, 25-19 and 25-14 to advance to the PCL semis. 

 

Cardinal O’Hara vs. St. Hubert’s: O’Hara defeated St. Hubert’s in three straight sets to earn a spot in the PCL semi tomorrow evening at Neumann University.
