HERSHEY, PA - Last night, St. Joseph’s Prep faced off against Pittsburgh Central Catholic at Hersheypark Stadium in the PIAA 6A state football championship.
The Hawks entered the half leading 14-0 off a 34-yard rushing touchdown from D’Andre Swift and a 34-yard TD reception from Darryle Simmons.
The Prep continued to dominate the remainder of the game, with Swift and Terrance Greene each adding two more touchdowns a-piece.
St. Joe’s Prep sailed their way past Central Catholic with a final score of 42-7 to earn their third state title in four years.
Congratulations to Hawks head coach Gabe Infante and his entire team on a perfect 14-0 season!
