PHILADELPHIA - Monday afternoon marked the fourth consecutive win for the St. Joe's Prep Hawks. The Prep got out to a fast start in the Kelly Fieldhouse, putting up 8 points in the first minute of play. Junior guards Kyle Thompson and Darius Kinnel led the team in scoring in route to their 62-29 win vs. Bishop McDevitt.

The Hawks also played solid defense all throughout the game, holding McDevitt to no more than 11 points in a quarter. Junior Ed Croswell dominated the paint on both sides of the floor using his size. Towards the end of the quarters, St. Joe’s Prep head coach Speedy Morris put in a few tenured seniors as well as some future players of the program, to get a feel of the fast pace action.

Overall, the Prep’s contingent of Kyle Thompson, Darius Kinnel, and Ed Croswell is becoming a scary sight for opposing teams to see. The Hawks have a packed weekend schedule. Tonight, the Prep will travel to face La Salle at 7PM. On Sunday the Hawks will take on Archbishop Wood at 2:30PM at Philadelphia University.
