ASTON, PA--To say it was a great season for La Salle College High School’s volleyball team would be an understatement.

The Explorers held on to their perfect (12-0) league record when they faced No.3 seed St. Joseph’s Prep (8-4) in the PCL Championship Final  Monday night at Neumann University.

La Salle retained its PCL Championship Title with a 3-1 victory over the Hawks.

The Explores won the first set 25-22 and the second set 25-15. The Hawks came back fighting in the third set with a 25-19 win. However, La Salle pulled out the 4th set with a 25-14 victory claiming the PCL Championship Plague.

It’s the Explorers third championship win in four years.

La Salle will face George Washington High School in the District XII 3A Championship tomorrow at Archbishop Ryan High School.
