The Burrs came out on top with a striking final score of 50-0. Despite the daunting final, both teams struggled out of the gate to find the end zone. During the second play of the game the Friars fumbled the ball, which was then recovered by West Catholic. On very next play, West Catholic fumbled the ball and Bonner-Prendie regained possession.

The first touchdown of the game did not occur until the end of the first quarter where West Catholic junior wide receiver Aaron Jenkins ran for an 81-yard touch down. The remainder of the game consisted of West Catholic completely dominating Bonner-Prendie on both sides of the ball.

With two league games remaining, West Catholic is in a must win mode with an outside chance of tying for the Catholic League Blue Division title. The Burrs will play again on Saturday, October 21 against Bishop McDevitt at 7:00 p.m. Bonner-Prendie will host Conwell-Egan this evening at 7:00 p.m.
