Lampart is a 2000 graduate of Archbishop Ryan where he was a member of the varsity football team and recipient of the 1999 Archbishop Ryan Quarterback Club Award. He continued his education earning a Bachelor’s Degree from Penn State University in 2005, followed by a Masters of Science degree in Special Education from Mansfield University in 2012. Lampart is currently employed teaching Emotional Support at CCA Baldi Middle School in Northeast Philadelphia.

"I couldn’t be any more excited to be named the Head Coach of the Archbishop Ryan High School Football Program,” said Lampart. “I would like to thank President Mike Barnett, Principal Joe McFadden and Athletic Director Joe Zeglinski for this great opportunity. Archbishop Ryan has always been my home and I cannot wait to work with the faculty, alumni, parents, and the student athletes to produce a championship culture. I look forward to building a program and bringing a new energy to the way our student athletes attack the classroom, hallways, weight room and the football field."

Lampart comes to Ryan with an extensive coaching background that has prepared him for his new role as head football coach.

He served as offensive line and defensive line coach at Archbishop Wood from 2015 to 2018 where he won two District 12 Championships and two PIAA 5A State Championships in 2016 and 2017. From 2014 to 2018, Lampart has been the defensive line coach for the Philadelphia Blue Flame, Philadelphia’s Police and Fire Football Club. The Blue Flame most recently won the 2018 National Public Safety Football League Championship.

Lampart brings experience and energy to several critical needs for the Archbishop Ryan Football Program: measurable success on and off the field, communications on all fronts, building and maintaining the Ryan football family, and an investment the student body, alumni and the community.

“Chris is back at Ryan with championship experience and a wealth of knowledge working under tremendous coaches. His passion and enthusiasm will be contagious to the players, parents and alumni,” said Zeglinski. “Through this process it became evident Chris is prepared and ready to lead his own program. He is the right guy that will to bring that championship mentality back to the great tradition of Ryan Football.”

Lampart is taking over a Ryan team that finished the 2018 season with an 8-4 overall record. The Raiders began their season winning six straight games against Bartram, Frankford, Interboro, Chester, Springside Chestnut Hill and Catholic League rival, Father Judge. Ryan finished league play 2-3, ultimately losing to Archbishop Wood 24-17 in the PCL 5A title game.
